Do not get caught with unseen Human Resource liabilities, (e.g. underpayment of wages, accrued leave entitlements, on going claims, etc).  If there are issues in the Award coverage/ Enterprise Agreements/ rates of pay or leave entitlements of the business that you are looking to purchase, then your company as the new owner may be responsible and liability of these entitlements and breaches.  These represent real costs and should be calculated in the purchase price or you may find you have overpaid on the cost of your purchase.  To avoid this, you need to get an audit performed by a Human Resource specialist in this field.
